Blume reminds me of so many things that there's not enough space to list them all. The music is sort of a hybrid of 90's trance and modern industrial while the vocals are straight up darkwave material (strong Depeche Mode vibes). And the anthemic nature of the songs just adds to the epicness of the whole thing. The choruses are massive, with the Blackening one naturally taking the lead. FLESH MECHANIC

I chose "Expensive Things" as for me this sums up the "Helix" sound the best, vocal cuts, energetic atypical beats, a mix between electro, pop, synthpop and more... I love bands that diversify their sound palette and are unique. On top of that there's the unique and mysterious voice of Mari Kattman! Yves Schelpe (Psy'Aviah)

Whole album is a good balance of slower songs and faster tracks which dominate. Really like "What is wrong" due to it's straight punch line and the awesome instruments arranged along. Thomas.P
A stellar cast of artists put their own shadowy spins on recent Bestial Mouths material—toward the goth club floor or into pure noise. Bandcamp New & Notable May 11, 2021
Gloriously primal music that recalls the glory days of early ’80s industrial, icy drum machines clashing with searing synths. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 16, 2021

It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles
