Time to Go
The party's only getting started
But air in here is thick
All the strangers' eyes are staring
Like they think that we are sick
We don't belong here I can feel it
I didn't come here to compete
Is it our hair or how we're dressed
They look at us like we're fresh meat
It's time to go
We should be anywhere but here
It's time to go
Head for the door, the coast is clear
Time to go
We've used up our welcome tonight I fear
It's time to go
Let's (find us a way to) disappear.
We should have known by all the strangers
Listed on the invitation
And that the deviant aesthetic
Was really only imitation
We didn't want to draw attention
To our dark proclivities
But every time let our words out
It made the others ill at ease.
It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles
A stellar cast of artists put their own shadowy spins on recent Bestial Mouths material—toward the goth club floor or into pure noise. Bandcamp New & Notable May 11, 2021
Gloriously primal music that recalls the glory days of early ’80s industrial, icy drum machines clashing with searing synths. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 16, 2021
Whole album is a good balance of slower songs and faster tracks which dominate. Really like "What is wrong" due to it's straight punch line and the awesome instruments arranged along. Thomas.P
